Ülkemizde bitümlü sıcak karışımlar konusunda yayınlanmış bir çok eserde Bitümlü Bağlayıcılar ve Esnek Kaplamalar kısımlarının TEMEL KAYNAK eseri "The Shell Bitumen Handbook" un önemli gördüğüm "Kısım 5 - Polimer Modifiye Bitümler ve Özel Bitümler" bölümünü paylaşıyorum. İlerleyen süreçdeki paylaşımlarla eserin tamamı paylaşılmış olacak.
Kısaca "The Shell Bitumen Handbook" dan bahsedicek olursak; ilk olarak Birleşik Krallık'da 1949 yılında "Mexphalte Handbook" olarak yayınlanmıştır. 16 Şubat 2015 de 6.baskısı yayınlanmıştır.
